Local Study
Link to Survey:
The local study gave us the opportunity to collect data we could not retrieve from IUI databases or a simple Google search. We received 28 responses, allowing us to conduct a reliable analysis of the local data. We received contextual information from Questions 1-7, meaning the responses gave us a better idea of who is taking the survey, what they think about the communication, and how aware they are of events. The recommendations are reflected in Questions 8-11, so we could gain an idea of what parents thought of these alternative strategies.

Specifically, Question 8 asked about receiving a newsletter, in which well over half (68%) of parents indicated that they would like to receive a newsletter and that it be via email. Question 9 asked about involvement in an open communication channel, where 96% of parents indicated they would view the channel and 44% of those parents said they would interact with it in some way (by commenting or reacting). Question 10 covered a specific aspect of incentives - an early bird discount - and 36% of parents confirmed they would RSVP sooner with a discount. Question 11 asked about receiving direct text messages for important events/activities, and 57% of parents voted ‘yes’ for receiving updates directly.
